Teknika Brutal releases Puro EP as Uprising celebrates 7th Anniversary!

After the seminal and critically acclaimed Bawal sa Tanga debut album in 2012 - of which literally set the bar for punchline-centric rap styles in Filipino HipHop - newly revamped Teknika Brutal now returns with the 8-track project titled Puro, as Uprising Records Philippines celebrates its 7th year of pushing its unadulterated sound and vision.

Intended to be a full-length album if not for creative processes halted by this year’s pandemic, Teknika Brutal still manages to give us our fill of their 2.0 form in Batas and Apoc’s continuously sharpening lyricism, and ever-evolving flows, along with newly added sound-scapers, beatsmith extraordinaire KMG, and precision cutting turntablist DJ Arthug.
