KMG releases new 10-track instrumental album, The Odyssey!

KMG, the beatsmith extraordinaire from Albay, releases his 5th album, and second under Uprising Records Philippines titled, The Odyssey.

The 10-track soundscape features further dexterity in KMG’s beat-style, slightly veering away from his usual knockout boombap flavor by injecting more ingredients of triphop, ethnic, drum ‘n bass, lofi, and even a few stutter effects drizzled in via his SP Looper. Still ever present in the album is KMG’s signature, undeniably ensnaring, headnodic quality. The drums still hard, crisp, and concise, and the sampled-melodies, both playful and foreboding.
